Module 1 - Objective of cyber threat intelligence​

• Concept of Cyber Threat Intelligence: To start with, you will unravel the essence of cyber threat intelligence and its implications, analysing the interplay of 'cyber', 'threat' and 'intelligence' and their collective significance in the digital realm.
• Organisational Benefits of Cyber Threat Intelligence: Explore how organisations utilise cyber threat intelligence to proactively navigate threats, allowing them to successfully mitigate risk and sustain a competitive advantage in a complex landscape.
• The Role of a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst: You will take a look at the dynamic role and responsibilities of a cyber threat intelligence analyst.

Module 2 - Introduction to threat actors​

• Grey, White and Black Hat Hackers: You will explore the distinctions between Grey, White and Black Hat Hackers and understand the unique characteristics that set them apart.
• Black Hat Hackers: You will dissect Black Hat Hackers by delving into the intricacies of their motives, capabilities and underlying infrastructures.

Module 3 - Threat vectors​

• Threat Vectors and Vulnerability Types: In this module you will explore typical threat vectors encountered by organisations and gain a foundational understanding around attack surface.

Module 4 - The intelligence cycle​

• The Intelligence Lifecycle: You will learn about a foundational pillar of cyber threat intelligence, exploring its uses and how the differing elements of the intelligence lifecycle come together.

Module 5 - Introduction to law and ethics​

• Law and Ethics: In this module you will learn about law and ethics, how it applies to cyber threat intelligence and why it is so important. Though the teachings in this module centre specifically around UK/EU law, you will see commonality between these laws and those in your own country.
