Hi everybody,

i have a problem about driver wifi adapter on backtrack5 r3 ...

i get a wifi adapter ... the chipset of the adapter is rtl8191 and i do not start mon with airmon-ng...

i getting this warning: ARP linktype is get to 1 (Ethernet) - expected ARPHRD_IEEE80211, ARPHRD_IEEE80211_FULL or ARPHRD_IEEE80211_PRISM instead. Make sure RFMON is enabled: run 'airmon-ng' start wlan0 <#>' Sysfs injection support was not found either.

help me please...

Testea con esto:

>sudo airmon-ng

<- para chekear si la tarjeta es reconocida (que si lo es por que lo he comprobado)

>sudo airmon-ng start "Interfaz de tu Tarjeta"

con esto colocas a tu tarjeta en modo monitor

ok i use that commands but i getting a error 'Sysfs injection support was not found either.'

no pues, se supone que con los comandos que te he dado, has puesto tu tarjeta en modo monitor lo que significa que la interfaz que utilizaras para escanear, inyectar o para otros ataques seguramente es "mon0"

cuando hayas realizado el segundo comando, teclea esto "sudo airmon-ng" y veras el nombre de la interfaz que se ha creado en modo monitor.

BackTrack contiene buenas herramientas para el hacking de WPA2 y si puedes romper una Clave WPA2, dependiendo de tu Adaptador y las herramientas que pretendas utilizar.

Use reaper to crack wpa2,its there in Backtrack 5 R3, its excellent espcially if u have nvidia gpu . . . u can use it to enhance ur speed of bruteforcing

On Vmware maybe not, but iu make a live usb out of Backtrack and use it to boot into as an OS, it might pick it up spiteful:
